Integrations
Connect your external marketing tools and platforms to Superlines to enhance your marketing capabilities and get comprehensive insights in one place.
Overview
Superlines integrates with popular marketing and analytics platforms to provide:
- Consolidated data from multiple sources
- Enhanced AI recommendations based on your actual marketing performance
- Automated tracking and reporting
- Streamlined workflow between Superlines and your existing tools
Available Integrations
Superlines currently supports the following integrations:
Analytics & Search
- Google Analytics: Track and analyze website traffic and user behavior
- Google Search Console: Monitor search performance and optimize website visibility
Advertising
- Google Ads: Connect your ads account to track campaign performance and automate reporting
Team Collaboration
- Slack: Receive recommendations and updates directly in your Slack workspace
- Microsoft Teams: Get recommendations and updates directly in your Teams workspace
- PostHog: Connect for advanced analytics, feature flags, and session recordings
Setting Up Integrations
During Onboarding
If you're setting up integrations during the onboarding process:
- When you reach the "Choose Your Integrations" step, select the platforms you want to connect
- For each selected platform, follow the authorization process
- Configure which specific accounts/properties you want to connect
- Complete the setup process
After Onboarding
To set up integrations after completing onboarding:
- From the left sidebar, click on "Integrations"
- Browse the available integrations
- Click "Connect" next to the service you want to integrate
- Follow the authorization flow for that service
- Configure the specific accounts or properties to connect
Google Integrations
Connecting Google Ads
- Click "Connect" next to Google Ads
- Select the Google account you want to use
- Grant the required permissions
- Select the specific Google Ads account to connect
- The integration status will change to "Connected" once complete
Connecting Google Analytics
- Click "Connect" next to Google Analytics
- Select the Google account you want to use
- Grant the required permissions
- Select the specific Google Analytics property to connect (e.g., "Superlines - superlines.io")
- The integration status will change to "Connected" once complete
Connecting Google Search Console
- Click "Connect" next to Google Search Console
- Select the Google account you want to use
- Grant the required permissions
- Select the specific domain or property to connect (e.g., "sc-domain:superlines.io")
- The integration status will change to "Connected" once complete
Team Communication Integrations
Connecting Slack
- Click "Connect" next to Slack
- You'll be redirected to Slack to authorize the connection
- Select the Slack workspace to connect
- Choose which channels can receive Superlines notifications
- Grant the required permissions
- You'll be redirected back to Superlines once the connection is complete
Connecting Microsoft Teams
- Click "Connect" next to Microsoft Teams
- You'll be redirected to Microsoft to authorize the connection
- Sign in to your Microsoft account if needed
- Grant the required permissions
- Configure which Teams channels can receive Superlines notifications
- You'll be redirected back to Superlines once the connection is complete
Managing Integrations
Viewing Integration Status
The Integrations page shows the status of all your connections:
- Connected: The integration is active and working
- Not Connected: The integration has not been set up
- Error: There's an issue with the connection that needs to be resolved
Disconnecting Integrations
To disconnect an integration:
- From the Integrations page, find the integration you want to disconnect
- Click the "Disconnect" button
- Confirm the disconnection
- The integration status will change to "Not Connected"
Reconnecting Integrations
If an integration is disconnected or has an error:
- Click "Connect" to restart the connection process
- Follow the authorization steps again
- The integration should return to "Connected" status
Permissions and Data Access
Superlines requires specific permissions from each platform to function properly:
- Google Analytics: Read-only access to your analytics data
- Google Ads: Read access to campaign and performance data
- Google Search Console: Read access to search performance data
- Slack/Teams: Permission to post messages to selected channels
Superlines does not:
- Make changes to your connected accounts
- Post without your permission
- Share your data with third parties
Troubleshooting Integration Issues
If you encounter problems with your integrations:
Google Integration Issues
- Ensure you're using the correct Google account that has access to the services
- Check that you've granted all the requested permissions
- Verify that your Google account has administrative access to the services
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration
Slack/Teams Integration Issues
- Ensure your Slack/Teams account has permission to add integrations
- Check that you've granted all the requested permissions
- Verify that the selected channels still exist
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration
Data Synchronization
- Superlines syncs data from your integrations regularly (typically every 24 hours)
- Some data may update more frequently depending on your subscription plan
- You can view when data was last synced in the respective feature areas
Limitations
- The number of integrations available depends on your subscription plan
- Some advanced features within integrations may require a higher-tier plan
- Certain historical data may be limited by the integration provider's API
